My friend that I mentioned at the beginning of this blog died today. She was diagnosed and had surgery in July, and found out in September that the cancer was back and had spread. She immediately started chemo, and never recovered, never had a break. All treatment was stopped the week of Thanksgiving. This is so unbelieveably sad and unfair. My heart aches for her sweet kids and her family. I am terrified that the same could happen to me.
